Your Pregnancy: Week 39

Woman at full-term of pregnancy

By week 39 of pregnancy, you’re nearly there!

At 39 weeks, the average baby weighs around 3.25kg and measures close to 51cm – but your baby may be shorter or longer, or lighter or heavier.

You may get people calling or texting to see if you’ve had the baby. It can be frustrating to have to say ‘not yet’ but keep in mind your baby is safe and comfortable inside.

You may notice more stretch marks towards the end of your pregnancy and be feeling more uncomfortable than before.
