Recipe: Two Islands Protein Banana Bread
Prep 5 minutes, bake 30-40 minutes. Makes 10-12 slices.
This delicious, high protein banana bread recipe makes for an ideal pregnancy or postpartum snack.
Ingredients
2 eggs
2 bananas
1 ½ cups almond flour
1 serving Two Islands Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
⅓ cup olive oil
⅓ cup almond milk
Optional add ins: handful walnuts, berries, or chocolate chunks
Method
- Blend eggs, banana, vanilla, olive oil and almond milk until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon and optional add-ins.
- Combine both mixtures and pour into a lined loaf tin.
- Bake in the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 30-40 minutes or until lightly brown on the outside.
- Slice, eat and enjoy!
